Context of the mission ::

Our client Matrix Siebel project.
Project Manager, who can also act as senior functional analyst, to assist main project manager to manage the content of the project.

Required knowledge and experience
Principal assignments

· This assignment is about functional content management a Siebel project. Main job is managing the interfaces with the different stakeholders. This involves taking the lead and doing the coordination of content related activities, but also writing the functional design.
· Get requirements on time from the business and challenge them to avoid too much customization on the Siebel application and to contain the scope of the content to able to stick to commitments.
· Manage Indian subcontractor in cooperation with main project manager: get and review estimates to deliver on the items specified in the functional design; follow-up on technical deliverables; manage scope of defect fixing during test phase.
· Manage the functional test team. Make sure that test specification is in line with functional design and that test execution guarantees a high quality delivery to the production environment.
· Translating user requirements and formalizing them into understandable functional specifications capable of being utilized for technical supervision, by the Indian development team and by the functional test team.
· Leading and guiding programmers in complex developments.

Principal responsibilities:

· Helping the project owners to implement their requirements on-time by writing the functional specification, and by getting a commitment on the content by the Indian subcontractor. Work with the main project manager to deliver quality on time.
· Taking on integration where it involves a software package: defining configuration
· Supervising analyst programmers’ work where it involves in-house development
· Managing project documentation (English)
· Analyze and challenge users’ requirements against vanilla Siebel
· Analyze and challenge the developments proposed by the developers (external party)
· Taking over project management responsibility when the main project manager is absent.
· Project management of deliverables outside the regular quarterly release process managed by the main project manager.
· Coordinate during test phase

Experience

· Master or Bachelor – At least 10 years of experience with Siebel
· At least 5 years experience in functional design and project management
· Sound knowledge of development methods, standards and tools
· Banking experience is an advantage
· Strong Siebel background
· Experience of business analysis and functional design in a Siebel context.
· Experience with managing an Indian subcontractor

Behavioral skills:

· Leadership skill to manage and guide test team and Indian subcontractor
· Ability to express oneself, listen , communicate and coordinate with various audiences – Business, Developers, Architects, Infrastructure specialist.
· Rigor and being methodical
· Adapts quickly and easily
· Structured deliverables

Objective of the job

Doing content management of the quarterly releases of the Matrix Siebel application. Lead to guide and steer involved teams to deliver requested content. Maturity to challenge business on listed requirement and to contain the scope. Technical experience to write a high quality functional design for a Siebel application.
