Probleme d'assemblage array raid 1 au boot sur debian squeeze

    Par défaut Probleme d'assemblage array raid 1 au boot sur debian squeeze
    Bonjour voici donc mon probleme:

    Sur mon serveur domestique sous debian squeeze qui tournait jusqu'alors a merveille, depuisquelques jours et sans raisons apparentes, il se plante après le grub sur une erreur d'assemblage de l'array du raid 1 ( deux disques de 80go en mirroring)

    J'atterri donc sur :
    Gave up waiting for root device.
    ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/[UUID] does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

    et pour réussir à booter je suis obligé de lui passer a la main ces lignes:

    $(initramfs) mdadm --assemble /dev/md0 /dev/sda1 /dev/sdb1
    $(initramfs) mdadm --assemble /dev/md1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sdb2
    $(initramfs) mdadm --assemble /dev/md2 /dev/sda3 /dev/sdb3
    $(initramfs) exit

    Et la il boot sans problèmes et tout est dans le vert !

    j'ai essayé de reinstaller le grub : nada, de reconstruire fstab/mtab : nada, de reconstruire mdadm.conf : nada .

    Je suis un peu perdu et implore l'aide des experts et autres gourous de la debian pour me venir en aide ...

    As-tu bien effectué les grep sur tous les fichiers dpkg.log disponibles comme je l'ai mentionnée?

    si ca marche systematiquement quand tu reconstruit tes raids mdadm au boot c'est plus probablement un problème d'ordre des detection des disques,

    tu peux t'en proteger en forcant l'ordre avec une regle udev
    à condition que ton grub et ton boot soient pas dans un des md géré par l'udev !

    ========================

    une autre possiblité est un marqueur fail-test sur un disque qui a été oublier, un forçage unitaire au status ok sur chaque disque + MD suffira donc à reésoudre le problème.

    encore une fois le problème est le raid-soft .... un vrai raid-array aurai évité ça... mais bien sur c'est pas les même réactivité pour redémarrer, c'est pas aussi souple et c'est plus cher...


    mais bon....
